Tiny, it has been a year since the burial. A day I prayed and hoped I should never see. I miss you dearly. Similoluwa and Anike - they thank the Lord each day that they have a mummy, and they do. You left them more than enough to remember you by for years to come. And yes, they still thank the Lord for their mummy before they mention their daddy in prayer, just like old times (this is the point when you would have asked if I was jealous and I would have flatly denied it.) Your presence is here Tiny - always in our lives and always in my heart. A friend sent to me a Karthy Trocolli song, “Goodbye for Now” - I never heard you sing that one before but I listen to it a lot now because it so captures the essence of, well, everything. You were the Lord’s special gift to me for 17 years, Tiny - the most precious and beautiful person this side of eternity. The Father gave you to us my love, and He was pleased to take you back. To God immortal and eternal be glory and praise for ever. It is a year since the burial today Tiny, a year closer to resurrection.
