Only prophets and submarines log periscopes everywhere with them; but then subs and seers fish in much deeper waters. The rest of us do prayers and stethoscopes. Who would have guessed that the protruding hull on the horizon belonged to the Titanic? Who would have guessed that the Titanic lay beneath a swimming pool? You were very thirsty, and drank a lot of water. But eventually, you drank the water of life, from the cistern of Living Waters. What a swig!
