I was hoping that delaying this entry would make it unreal that my dear friend Banke has gone to be with the Lord. But this is just wishful thinking on my part. My dear friend Banke (Banky dodo) has departed from this earth to be with the Lord. How I would miss you deeply and dearly! • I would miss your gentle and kind spirit-remember those days we spent together at your home, gisting into the night. • I would miss your beautiful voice, how you sang melody to the Lord-remember those days of Unilorin, we planned to make our unique album of glorious songs to the Lord. • I would miss our long catch phone up calls- remember after I left Unilorin, you were one of the few friends that I stayed in touch with, so much so that my younger ones all still speak fondly of you. I loved to hear how lovely you spoke about your hubby and beautiful children, exchanging ideas and laughs. • I would miss your strong faith and love for Christ-remember when we were both planning to get married, you would say “God would do it for us, but we just have to move in God's perfect will and plan for our lives.” Your love and trust for God was so contagious. • I would miss your uniqueness and creativity-remember we had plans to do business together. After I bought your great shoe rack product, we joked around that I would be your business manager and you would discover all the new inventions. So much I would miss about you, my dear friend Banke. I do thank God for the opportunity to have known you. I would always remember you. I would always love you and remain connected to you. God knows best and He is more than able to support and comfort your beautiful family. So Rest in the Lord, my dear friend Banke. Rest in the Lord!!!
