Banke, we love you, your faithfulness, your soft-spokeness, your gentle steadfastness, and your unquenching zeal for the things of God. In these last few months, your endurance, courage and hope are commendable. We wish we gathered under better circumstances and that we spent more time together, but we are thankful for the moments we had with you. We love you Banke and will dearly miss you; our consolation is that we look forward to being with you someday in the presence of our Lord. Wale, May the God of all comfort, comfort you. May He keep Similoluwa and Anike. Your love for Banke was deep and evident. As you cherished Banke all these years and cared for her these last several months, May God restore your hope and delight in Him. May He refill you with His Spirit, may He give you beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning and a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. May He lift you and the family at large to a Rock that is higher than you in Jesus name. Amen.
